Os Mutantes from 1966 to 1969

Os Mutantes play 'Domingo no parque' with Gilberto Gil at Teatro Record in 1967.
photo session for Os Mutantes' debut album - 1967.
a page out of Ronnie Von's biography stating that Von's own weekly TV show 'O pequeno mundo de Ronnie Von' started on 15 October 1966, a Saturday afternoon. Os Mutantes played 3 numbers on that show: 'Got a feelin', a cover of one of the most beautiful tracks at The Mamas & the Papas' first album 'If you can believe your eyes and ears' was the highlight of the programme.
Os Mutantes as seen by monthly magazine 'Realidade', June 1969.

Rita Lee, vocals & percussion.
Sergio Dias Baptista, solo-guitar.
Arnaldo Dias Baptista, bass-player.
An early article about Os Mutantes (probably mid-1966) where Arnaldo & Sergio appear at the side of their Mother (Clarisse) and Father (César); Rita Lee plays the piano having her Father (Charles Fenley Jones) playing an acoustic guitar and Mother (Romilda) looks on.
Arnaldo, Gilberto Gil, Caetano (in back), Rita Lee, Nara Leão & Gal Costa at Som de Cristal on 23rd August 1968, the night Vicente Celestino died in his hotel while waiting the time to take a cab and head to the night-club where he would sing 'Coração materno' that night.
